Jim owns a convenience store which he inherited from his father. His father has been dead for a couple of years now. Now Jim mans the store alone, fervently sticking to his old routine of opening in the evening and closing it in the early mornings with only Sean, the old hip hopper who stays outside the store and listens to loud music, and Maria, a quiet and pretty girl who comes in every night to buy a pack of chewing gum, for company. Jim seems satisfied in his little world until Roxanne comes into the store.
